    Removed and disposed of some old chimneys for me. They arrived on time, do great work, finished the same day and were reasonably priced. They've taken care of all the current work I needed done but they'll be the ones I call next time I need a mason. Would definitely recommend. See more See less

    Vermont custom masonry undertook the restoration of my double flue chimney; including repointing, capping, cleaning, and the installation of two beautiful gas fireplace inserts. I encountered a few issues commonly found in older homes, but Brandon and Stan were consistently available, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend their services and have already referred them to several friends. The feedback I received from others has been positive, praising their work quality, strong work ethic, and efficiency in completing tasks.     Our two chimneys were in a state of much needed repair. Both chimneys were made of cultured stone without any grout holding them together and after many years of wind, snow, and rain, you could literally pick the stone out and remove it. Vermont Custom Masonry responded quickly to our request for a quote, came in when promised, and finished the job when promised, and held to the quote. They demo'd the chimney, all the while protecting the roof, reinstalled flashing, rebuilt the chimney's with stone block and mortar, then washed and waterproofed the chimney, and finally cleaned up and removed the debris, including raking out the lawn where it had landed. We are super pleased with the new look of the chimney's and super pleased with the work these guys did. Highly recommend!! See more See less

    Vermont Custom Masonry provided outstanding service, timely communication and professional installation of the fireplace insert and rock veneer surround. From the initial consultation through completion of the job, we felt Brandon and his team offered creative ideas, patient guidance and solutions oriented problem solving. Prior to the interior project kick-off, they repointed our listing chimney, installed an attractive chimney cap and even facilitated the collection and finishing of our locally sourced live edge mantel.
